• Fundations provides children of different learning abilities with a foundation for reading and spelling.

• Each level of Fundations presents skills in a multi-sensory approach.

-Phonological and Phonemic Awareness

-Sound Mastery

*The 2nd grade team will be transitioning from a traditional spelling program to a focus of phonics (working with words) versus memorization.
