Meet the Teacher
I am in my 18th year of teaching. I attended Rowan University and obtained a B.A. in Education and a M.A. in Reading. I have a passion for teaching and truly enjoy working with children and watching them discover new things.
I am excited to be teaching Basic Skills Instruction at Jeffrey Clark School. Basic Skills is designed to provide additional support and instruction in a small group setting. It focuses on reteaching and providing practice so the student develops the skills needed for independent learning in their classroom.
I will work in collaboration with the classroom teacher to identify areas in which your child needs support. Together we will help facilitate learning in a fun and exciting way while still meeting the individual needs of the student.
As a teacher, I wish to see your child excel and become a lifelong learner. To accomplish this goal, it is essential that we work together and be sure he or she reaches their potential. It is also important to remember that the educational development of your child cannot be rushed and that each child is unique in their needs. Remember this as the year progresses and we are certain to achieve success in educating your child.
