Daily 5 is the structure we will use during our literacy block. Children will be busy completing meaningful literacy tasks. The choices will be:
* Read to Self
* Work on Writing
* Word Work
* Listen to Reading
* Read to Someone
Students are given clear expectations before joining a Daily 5 center. They have a clear task and are expected to work independently. While students rotate these centers, I meet with reading groups to work on reading strategies, listen to reading progress, and facilitate growth as a reader.
